February's meeting was the members competition for new movies represented by 30 sec advertisments or 1 mm epics for which there was a strong entry. 30 sec. ads, entrants were: Peter Dickens with ‘Malta’, Neil Cryer with ‘Hold me Steady’, Sally Maltby with ‘Pan-a-seeah’, David Jackson with ‘Tapes’, Gordon Sutton with ‘Coming Soon’, Crossingtons with ‘Garden Centre’ and Ric Freeman and Andrew Evans with ‘Woods’ The entrants in the 1 min epic were: Gordon Sutton accepting Arthur Mashford with ‘Silent the 1min epic trophy fir Thief’, Crossinghams with ‘Best wishes” ‘Esmeralda’, Dove Productions with ‘The Letter’, Kay White with ‘Midsummer Night’, Gordon Sutton with ‘Best Wishes’, David Jackson with ‘The Projectionists Lament’, and Paul Holden with ‘Palm Pleasure’. The eventual winners, after an extended marking system judged by members attending was computed by Mike Saunders were: 30sec. ads. 1st. Freeman & Evans ‘Woods” and 2nd. David Jackson with ‘Tapes’ 1min epic = 1st Gordon Sutton with ‘Best wishes” and 2nd. David Jackson with ‘Projectionists Lament” The second half of the meeting was a showing of 20mins of Create Media Partners beautiful new Video, ‘Hampshire History, Mystery & Legends’ ‘an absorbing journey through these dark tales and more. . . |
