Surrey filmmakers keenly participate in film competitionsThe club' makes many new movies throughout the year both using big teams for community films as well as individual compilations. All members are encouraged to take part but naturally some are very active while others are content to watch.
In order for your film to be shown to its best advantage it should be in a form the projectionist can easily handle. How many films are spoilt by the start being missed, the sound too low/high and the lights being brought up before the end? Do you want this to happen for your competition film? If not then help the projectionist by adding a standard count down leader from 10 to 0 with sound pips at each second, this leader is available on request. The screen should go blank and the sound go silent for the last two seconds of the leader to allow for the projectionist to fade up to the start of the film. PLEASE put an END caption on your film to help the projectionist know when to bring the lights up. |
